You only turn 65 once. We do it every day.

I’ve spent more than three decades helping neighbors here in central Kentucky make sense of Medicare — one face-to-face conversation at a time.

tom's story

How I got here

I’m originally from Owensboro, but I’ve called central Kentucky home since 1989. Before Medicare, I earned a B.S. in Computer Science and spent eight years working as a programmer and analyst. In 1989 I became a licensed insurance and financial advisor and moved here — and I’ve been a licensed agent in this community ever since.

I don’t try to be all things to all people. You wouldn’t want your primary care doctor doing your heart surgery, and you shouldn’t want a jack-of-all-trades agent handling something as important as your Medicare coverage. I only do one thing, so I try hard to do it better than anyone else — and because I’m not tied to any single insurance company, my recommendations are about what’s best for you, not a quota.

Over the years I’ve built a proprietary step-by-step enrollment process, made instructional videos to cut through the confusing jargon, and held workshops right here in the community — all so the people I work with actually understand their coverage instead of just signing where I point.

“You only turn 65 once, but we do it every day.”

Mission & Values

What I believe about this work

Education before enrollment

I’d rather spend an extra hour explaining your options than have you sign something you don’t understand.

Unbiased, on purpose

I’m not obligated to any one carrier, so my recommendations are about what fits you — not a sales quota.

One thing, well done

I only work in Medicare. That focus is what lets me go deep instead of spreading thin.

Protecting you from scams

Medicare participants get bombarded with false ads and pushy calls. Part of my job is helping you spot the difference.

Let’s find your plan — together.

No call centers, no confusing forms. Just a real conversation with someone who knows Medicare and knows Richmond.
